RUSTY GOFFE – BIOGRAPHY
Rusty was born and educated in Kent. He left school at 15 and went straight into Show Business working in Theatres as a Variety Artiste. Very soon in 1970, Rusty was asked to appear in a Movie to be filmed in Munich along side Gene Wilder. "Willy Wonka and The Chocolate Factory"!
He played the lead Oompa Loompa singing and dancing and…..oh yes, the famous cart-wheels!

Soon after he was sought after to appear in a horror film "Disciple of Death" playing a Vampire! In 1975 asked again to appear in another movie. "A low budget film" they said. And, as there were not many "small" actors in the UK Rusty was asked to play 3 characters as they "couldn’t afford" getting short actors from abroad! The movie?
"Star Wars!" Rusty played a Jawa, a Gonk Droid and, due to an actor collapsing with heat exhaustion, Kabe in the Cantina scene! Talk about a movie being at the right time in the right place!

Many other movies followed including three Harry Potter Films, The Philosophers Stone, The Prisoner of Azkaban and the latest The Order of the Phoenix!)

 

   
Television also has played a major part in Rusty’s career. Sit-coms such as ‘Allo ‘Allo and Are you Being Served? more recently Rusty plays parts in children’s television CBBC in Chucklevision and of course, Stupid! where Rusty plays Goober! (The Bog House Rat!)
